Hyderabad based technology firm, Celkon Mobiles today launched the company’s second iteration of the flagship AR Rahman branded smartphone dubbed as RahmanIshq AR 50 in IndiaCelkon Mobiles/ Facebook

Indian technology firm Celkon Mobiles has introduced a new feature phone, C76, carrying a price tag of ₹1,899.

The C76 is a dual-SIM phone with a 2.8-inch display and a 1.3-megapixel camera. It supports Bluetooth and wireless FM. The phone comes with in-built support for eight languages such as Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and English.

Other features of the phone include audio-video player, WAP/GPRS support and a 1,400mAh battery. The phone will be available in the market in chocolate and silver, and black and silver colour options.

"The launch of C76 is another milestone for the company. We at Celkon have always catered to the increasing needs of mobile phone users. Introducing a multi-lingual phone will reach out to the majority people spread across the regional boundaries. This will enable users to send Text messages in their respective Mother tongue and perform other linguistic activity," said Y Guru, Chairman and Managing director of Celkon Mobiles, ThinkDigit.

The company recently launched the second smartphone in its AR Rahman brand called RahmanIshq AR 50. The device sports a 5.0-inch touchscreen powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 CPU.

Other key specifications include 512MB RAM, 4GB inbuilt memory (with microSD card slot), 5.0-megapixel main camera, 0.3-megapixel (VGA) secondary camera and Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. The smartphone rivals domestic players like Lava Iris 501, Micromax Canvas 2 A110, Canvas Music A88, Canvas 3D A115, Karbonn A30.
