The fifth season of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) will kick-start on 10 January 2015. Riteish Deshmukh lead Veer Marathi will take on Suniel Shetty's Mumbai Heroes in the inaugural clash in Mumbai.
The CCL 5 will feature eight teams, the same number as the 2013 edition. The teams are divided into two groups of four where the four teams play each other once before the top two teams qualify for the semi-finals.
The matches will be played in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ranchi, Bengaluru, Kochi and Ahmedabad. Every weekend from 10 January, there will two matches before its final on 1 February.
