New CCTV footage of missing RAF serviceman Corrie McKeague has been released by Suffolk police.

The footage captures the last known sighting of the 23-year-old, who was has been missing since 24 September.

McKeague, who was based at RAF Honington, is seen walking through Brentgovel Street at 3.25am in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, after a night out with friends.

Police have traced his movements that evening after he left a bar. He bought a takeaway and was seen on CCTV walking with the food, before sleeping in a shop door for a couple of hours.

It is believed he may have tried to walk back to his base at RAF Honington. Sussex Police have combed woodland in the area Sky News reports.

His family has said his disappearance is out of character and have expressed fears that he may have been abducted. Bury St Edmunds is 30 miles away from RAF Marham, where two men allegedly attempted to kidnap an RAF servicemen by attacking him and trying to bundle him into a car in July.

McKeagues uncle, Tony Ringe, called on witnesses to come forward with any sightings of his nephew. Could you have seen him in a vehicle with other people, not on his own, in a different context? That may help unlock a sighting, he said.

Earlier police released images of a pink Ralph Lauren polo shirt and brown suede Timberland boots of similar to what he was thought to have been wearing before his disappearance.

McKeague is described as white, 5ft 10ins, of medium build, with short light brown hair.
