The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2015 retest on Monday, 17 August.

The results are available online on the official websites of CBSE and AIPMT. Students can check their ranks on aipmt.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in/welcome.htm, by using their roll numbers.

The CBSE conducted the AIPMT retest for medical and dental courses on 25 July, following a 15 June Supreme Court order that cancelled the test held on 3 May, in the wake of question paper leak and circulation of the answer keys through electronic devices across 10 states.

In its next order on 19 June, the apex court had set a deadline of 17 August to conduct the AIPMT retest and declare the results.

More than 4 lakh students appeared for the retest.

"A total of 6,32,625 candidates were registered for this examination, out of which only 4,22,859 candidates downloaded the admit card. The examination was conducted at 1,065 centres in 50 cities throughout the country and abroad," IANS quoted a statement issued by the CBSE.

The process of admission to various medical colleges across India, which was delayed, will begin soon after the results are declared.
