The Central Board of Secondary Education is likely to announce the results of its class 10 board exams on Saturday, June 3. Students who appeared for the class 10 exams this year can check their results online on the board's official website once they have been announced.

Here's how to check your scores online.

  • Log on to the board's official website -- www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in, and www.cbse.nic.in
  • Click on the class 10 results link
  • Enter the required details such as date of birth and roll number
  • Click submit and you will be given access to your scorecard
  • You can then download and take a printout of the same

About 8.8 lakh students are said to have appeared for the class 10 exams this year and are waiting to check their results with bated breath.

Meanwhile, CBSE has started the post-results counselling process, which will continue until June 11. "For the 20th consecutive year CBSE will be providing counselling services to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries related to Class X and XII results," the board said in a press note.

CBSE declared the class 12 results on Sunday, May 28, after a tiring and confusing wait. The board had earlier withheld the results of class 12 board exams after the Delhi High Court ordered the board to retain the moderation policy. Under the policy, the board awards grace marks to students for difficult questions.

CBSE had earlier decided to scrap the moderation policy this year itself, a move that had not gone down well with the students as well as the parents. However, the court has now ordered CBSE to retain the system this year and calculate the marks of the students accordingly.
