The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a chargesheet against YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in connection to the illegal assets case on Saturday.

In its 68-page chargesheet, the CBI has named Jagan, son of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, as the main accused in the case. It also named 12 other people including suspended IAS officer B P Acharya.

Jagan Mohan Reddy, MP of Kadapa, reportedly has assets of Rs 365 crores last year.

The Andhra Pradesh High Court ordered the CBI to probe into Jagan's wealth on August 11, 2011 after State Handlooms and Textile Minister P Shankar Rao along with four other people filed a petition in the court complaining about his wealth.
