Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) will have lot to explain about her disappearance in the second episode of "Castle" season 8 titled "XX", which will be telecasted on ABC at 10 pm on Monday, 28 September.
It could be easy for the female lead to convince her colleagues with the reasons behind her secret operation, but she may find it difficult to impress her husband Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion).
A 1.3 minute-long trailer for episode two explains the mystery novelist's disappointments. He tells his wife that they were better as a team and makes her promise there will be no more secrets between them.
Meanwhile, "Castle" will introduce two new cast members in the upcoming sequel titled "XX", "The Walking Dead" actor Sunkrish Bala and "Grey's Anatomy" alum Ann Cusack. While Bala will be playing the role of a high-strung tech analyst with a complicated past, Cusack will be introduced as a member of a top-secret organisation.
The followers of ABC crime drama have already got a glimpse of both the characters through the sneak peek videos of episode 2 and they are expected to play vital roles in Richard and Beckett's lives.
"Castle" season 8 episode 2 titled "XX" will be live streamed here and the official synopsis reads: "After receiving a mysterious tip from her past, Beckett is launched into a fight for her life, with a team of mercenaries hot on her trail. While Castle investigates why his wife is on the run, Beckett must figure out who wants her dead, before they can finish the job."
