Cannes Film Festival 2012: Day One Kicks Off With Glamour And Camel [PHOTOS]
Cannes Film Festival 2012 kicked off on May 16 with glamour and camel on the red carpet. The film fest began with world premiere of the film Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson starring Bruce Willis and Bill Murray.
Along with the cast members of the film, the Italian president of the 65th Cannes Film Festival jury - Nanni Moretti - and jury members Diane Kruger, Emmanuelle Devos, Ewan McGregor, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Hiam Abbass, Raoul Peck, Andrea Arnold and Alexander Payne were present on the red carpet.
But the man who stole the show on first day of the film festival was comedian Sacha Baron Cohen as he arrived on the promenade at the festival.
Cohen, who is promoting his new film, arrived at the festival as "The Dictator" on a camel.
