Fresh off three Prime Emmy nominations, "Shameless," is set to return to Showtime with Season 7 on Sunday, Oct. 2.

After the heartbreaking events of last season, fans are really excited by the Gallagher family and their friends after a long break, but it looks like there might be more disappointing surprises awaiting them in the episodes to come.

Although Fiona (Emmy Rossum), Lip (Jeremy Allen White), Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) and Debbie (Emma Kenney) had a really tough break in Season 6, things had looked pretty good for their brother Ian (Cameron Monaghan. In fact, it had seemed like Ian could finally move on from Mickey (Noah Fisher), thanks to the well-adjusted Caleb (Jeff Pierre).

However, it has now been understood that Caleb may not be as squeaky clean as we thought he was. It is understood that he is going to cheat on Ian in Season 7, and even more shockingly he is going to do it with a woman. Ian, suspicious of Caleb's cheating, reportedly stalks him and catches him red-handed with a woman.

Meanwhile, great news for fans of Rossum is that she will be directing an episode from the upcoming season. Season 7 episode 4 titled "I am Storm" will mark the debut of first "Shameless" cast member after William H Macy, who plays Rossum's daddy dearest, as the director. The episode is expected to be aired on Sunday, Oct. 23, taking the premiere date into consideration.
