Kolkata, Feb 16 (ANI): The Calcutta High Court on Monday granted bail to Trinamool Congress (TMC) vice-president Rajat Majumdar in connection with the Saradha chit-fund scam case. Majumdar, a former Director General of Police, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in September 2014 for his alleged involvement in the scam. He was allegedly associated with Saradha Group, which has been accused of duping thousands of investors with crores of rupees.
