New Delhi, Nov 6 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet gave its approval for signing a treaty on transfer of sentenced persons between India and Nigeria and also plans to work closely with Australia as a committed partner in international efforts to combat illicit drugs. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence 7 RCR in New Delhi. The Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that India and Nigeria have undergone an agreement that Indians sentenced to imprisonment in Nigeria can complete their punishment in their own country and vice-versa.
