With the Parliament Budget session starting today (Monday), the Congress-led UPA government is likely to have a hard time. Pressure will be more following the poor shoe of the party at recent assembly elections.

The government and the opposition party are likely to battle out on various issues. The government will try to pass bills like the Lokpal Bill, the Right to Education Bill and other important bills but it won't be as easy as they think.

The opposition party, the Left and even the allies of the Congress may haunt the government on issues like the NCTC, FDI in retail, inflation, the efforts made by the government to bring back the black money kept in foreign banks and other controversies.

The Government needs the support of its allies on the General Budget.
