Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is filling new vacancies for junior engineer posts and a massive number of eligible candidates applied for the job. BSNL conducted written examinations for 2,700 JE (Junior Engineer) TTA (Technical Assistant) posts from September 25 to 29 and the results for the same are available on the company's official website.
BSNL is one of the largest telecom providers in India. The telco selects candidates depending on the vacancies in various departments. This year's JE TTA notification was released on July 10 and the registration process had closed on August 10, 2016. The carrier posted the official answer key last month and the final results are out.
Where and how to check BSNL JE TTA results?
Step 1: Go to BSNL official website or visit externalbsnlexam.com or bsnleuchq.com.
Step 2: Find the "JE TTA Results 2016" link or "Declaration of the results of Junior Engineers (Direct Recruitment) and the instructions to the CGMs thereon" on the website and click on it.
Step 3: Enter your registration ID and other personal details and click "Submit"
Step 4: The results will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download or take a print out of the results copy for further perusal.
Candidates can also check the merit list of qualified individuals. A PDF file with all the names is published on the official site and candidates can press and hold CTRL+F to look for a particular name in the list.
What are the cut-off marks for each part?
30% for OC: 6 marks in GAT, 27 in Basic Engineering, 27 in Specialization.
20% for SC/ST/BC i.e. 4 marks in GAT, 18 in Basic Engineering g, 18 in Specialization.

40% for OC - that is 80 marks
33% for SC/ST/BC i.e. 66 marks
Candidates who have cleared the written test by passing the cut off marks will be listed in BSNL JE TTA Merit List. If your name has been shortlisted in merit list, the next course of action is to appear for an interview session on announced dates, which will be announced on the BSNL's official website shortly.
