Salbagan, Oct 02 (ANI): Indian border guard official appreciated Bangladesh efforts in curbing border crimes, while hailing the closer cooperation between the guards of both the countries in an attempt to bring an end to infiltration, trafficking and smuggling by criminals. Tripura shares a long border with Bangladesh and normally friendly relations between India and Bangladesh have often been marred by border firing, especially after New Delhi began fencing off the frontier to stop illegal migrants, cattle smugglers and militants.
