Ram Charan's "Bruce Lee - The Fighter" (BLTF) has shown a steep decline at the worldwide box office in its second weekend and has failed to cross the Rs 60-crore mark (gross) in 10 days.

"Bruce Lee - The Fighter" opened to an earth-shattering response, but the word of mouth took a toll on its business later. The movie grossed about Rs 48.40 crore at the worldwide box office in its first week and its distributors' share stood at Rs 34.31 crore. The film cashed in on the holiday season.

But the Srinu Vaitla-directed movie was forced to withdraw from many cinema halls across the globe to accommodate new releases like "Kanche", "Columbus" and "Raju Gari Gadhi". The new releases, which got positive reviews from audience, took a toll on its business by becoming the first choice of the viewers.

Especially, "Kanche", which features Varun Tej, a young hero from the mega family, affected the collection of "Bruce Lee - The Fighter". The strong word of mouth drove away most of the mega family fans from the Ram Charan starrer. Krish's film turned out to be big blow for Srinu Vaitla's movie.

When compared to its opening weekend collection, "Bruce Lee - The Fighter" had a steep decline of over 80% in its second weekend. The movie grossed approximately Rs 7.15 crore at the worldwide box office in its second weekend and its distributors' share stands at Rs 3.98 crore.

"Bruce Lee - The Fighter" has collected a total of Rs 55.55 crore gross at the worldwide box office in 10 days. The movie has returned Rs 38.29 crore to its distributors, who have shelled out a hefty sum of Rs 56 crore for its theatrical rights. It needs to earn them Rs 20 crore to recover their investments. A look at its current pace of collection suggests the film may incur huge losses to the distributors.
