Brisbane, Nov 16 (ANI): Welcoming Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the civic reception in Brisbane, Lord Mayor Graham Quirk and Queensland Premier Campbell Newman said that it was an honour to have Modi at the event. Graham Quirk said that the Indian people see him as a man to rest their hopes on and that this is a great responsibility that the Indian prime minister carries. Meanwhile, Queensland Premier Campbell Newman also greeted Modi and said that he has a great fan following in the city. The civic reception also had cultural programmes organized in welcome for PM Modi.
