Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather

People involved in the sports of boxing all over the world have been talking about the title in line, along with the mega dollars that Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather would make from the bout on 2 May at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. But there seems to be something else too in line, exclusively for the Filipino.

Pacquiao's plate would be full for life, if the Filipino defeats Mayweather in what has been regarded as the fight of the century, as Gerry's Grill, a Filipino restaurant in Artesia, California would be offering free food to Pacquiao for life.

That might only be an added incentive for the Filipino, but who would not want such an offer that too from one of Pacquiao's favourite restaurant.

As per reports of SB Nation, the boxer would not be allowed to bring any friends, or family members to eat for free, but he has the luxury of eating as much as he wants and as and when he wants.

However, one wonders if the Filipino would ever venture out to eat alone. He also does not have the luxury of an order take out.

If Pacquiao has been offered free food, Mayweather earlier stated that he wants one of the world's best chef, Gordon Ramsay to prepare him chicken wings, a burger and cheesecake after his fight.

The food's taste might also depend on the fight results, but a win for the American might make the cheesecake even sweeter and the chicken wings more juicer, while the loss could spoil Mayweather's appetite, as it would mean Mayweather's first loss in his professional career.

Apart from boxing, Mayweather appears to be pretty passionate about food as he has also expressed his interest in opening a restaurant with Gordon Ramsay.

But both the boxers would not be thinking of food for a while, as they have been preparing for the mega fight, which stands paramount for the American and the Filipino.

Boxing experts and former pugilists have predicted their favourites for the fight, but there is not much to choose between the two. The winner of the fight could well be regarded as the greatest boxer ever in their category.
