New Delhi, Aug 26 (ANI): Indian Boxer and World Boxing Champion Manoj Kumar has filed a petition in the High Court regarding the selection of sportspersons for giving Arjuna Award. Kumar has alleged that he is a world champion and has achieved more points than the person selected for Arjuna Award. Lawyer Rahul Mehra said that the petition has challenged the basis on which sportspersons are recognized for awards and also the committee which selects them. The next hearing will be on August28.
