Akshay Kumar's upcoming gangster saga "Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara" is all set to hit the screens on Independence Day, 15 August. The crime thriller which is one of the most awaited films of Akshay's this year might affect Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Chennai Express" box office collection.

It will be a clash of the titans at the box office after "OUATIMD" release. Both films belong to different genres, but they are big budget and most anticipated films of the year.

"Chennai Express" created records at the box office with big numbers during the opening weekend, but its collections declined on the first weekday. Since there were no good films in the past two weeks, the SRK starrer made it big at the box office.

However, with the release of "OUATIMD", "Chennai Express" collections might get affected. The huge promotions, delayed release and big star cast of "OUATIMD" will certainly pose tough competition to the SRK starrer.

Akshay's fans are waiting for this film to release, because for the first time in his career he is playing an anti-hero role. Akshay's character is based on the character of Shoaib, an underworld don. The film also features Sonakshi Sinha, Imran Khan and Sonali Bendre in important roles.

The film will see Sonakshi and Akshay's hit jodi back to the silver screen after "Rowdy Rathore". The film is a sequel to 2010 hit film "Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai".

With the release of Milan Lutharia's directorial, audience can decide which film to watch over the weekend. If "OUATIMD" receives positive reviews from critics upon its release, then there are high chances that it will bring down "Chennai Express" collections in the Indian market.
