Box Office Predictions: 'Hasee Toh Phasee' to Open on Good Note

Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra starrer "Hasee Toh Phasee," which is a romantic comedy film is all set to hit screens with a bang.

The romantic comedy film is jointly produced by Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar and features fresh pair Sidharth and Parineeti.

The pre-release buzz of "Hasee Toh Phasee" has been positive. The team has also made good efforts to promote the film.  The songs, which is one of the main factors for a film to run well, have become popular, be it the peppy Drama Queen, Shake It Like Shammi, Punjabi Wedding Song or the melodious Zehnaseeb. 

"We wanted to create compositions that had something for everyone. The album is reflective of the feel-good genre that the film is associated with," music directors Vishal-Shekhar told The Times of India.

"Hasee Toh Phasee" has an advantage at the box office as it will be the only big release. In January, the box office witnessed quite a dull period and even Salman Khan's "Jai Ho" didn't fetch the expected amount.

The film was screened for critics and other people last week. Film critic Taran Adarsh praising the film said that "Hasee Toh Phasee" is a refreshing and delightful romantic comedy.
