Recently released "Holiday – A Soldier is Never Off Duty" has been doing fantastic business in India.

The action entertainer has surpassed the ₹80 crore mark in just 10 days at the Indian box office. The Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer witnessed tremendous growth in its collections on Sunday (15 June).

The film minted ₹19.37 crore and recorded highest second weekend collections this year by beating "2 States" figures which amount to ₹15.53 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama.

Salman Khan's "Jai Ho" is third in the list with ₹13.8 crore, while Kangana Ranaut's "Queen" has taken the fourth spot with ₹11.45 crore. Tiger Shroff's debut film "Heropanti", which earned ₹8.29 crore in its second weekend, is ranked fifth in the list.

The 10-day collections of "Holiday" stand at ₹88.05 crore. "#Holiday [Week 2; revised figures] Fri 4.36 cr, Sat 6.31 cr, Sun 8.70 cr. Grand total: ₹ 88.05 cr nett. India biz. Excellent!," film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

"Holiday" is marching towards the ₹100-crore mark, which the film is expected to achieve by the end of the third weekend. The film is dominating over new releases and is likely to continue its good run until this Friday (20 June) when "Humshakals" hits the screens. The Saif Ali Khan starrer is expected to have a wide release and it might reduce the screen count for "Hoilday."

In overseas markets, "Holiday" has continued to perform well. Particulary, the film is doing good business in UAE-GCC and Pakistan. The Akshay starrer has approximately grossed around ₹20 crore at the end of the second weekend in overseas markets. Fugly

The comedy drama, directed by Kabir Sadanand, has minted ₹9.34 crore in its opening weekend.

"Fugly" minted ₹2.95 crore on the first day, while it earned ₹3.04 on Saturday (14 June). The film witnessed slight growth again on Sunday and raked in more than ₹3 crore. Its opening weekend collections stand at ₹9.34 crore.

The response for the film has been mixed. Its business witnessed an upward trend in some circuits in North India, while it remained low in certain sectors.

Filmistaan

First-time director Nitin Kakkar's "Filmistaan" has performed well at the box office. The film, which hit the screens on 6 June, opened to positive reviews from critics.

"Filmistaan", starring Sharib Hashmi and Innamulhaq, was shot in just 20 days. The film has managed to earn ₹5.86 crore in 10 days at the Indian box office.
