Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer "Tamasha" nears its Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office, while Salman Khan's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" is also set to achieve that status at the overseas box office.


Ranbir-Deepika starrer "Tamasha" has earned more than Rs 62 crore from the domestic box office, while from the overseas box office the film has minted approximately $5.53 million (Rs 36 crore) till the second weekend.

The 10-day worldwide box office collection of "Tamasha" now stands at Rs 98 crore. "Tamasha" should be able to cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office by its 12th day at the box office.

"Tamasha" has fared decently at the overseas box office, which helped the film come close to the century club.

The film fared well at the US box office and UAE-GCC box office. Here is the 10-day overseas breakup of the film, as provided by Bollywood Hungama.

US-Canada: From the US box office, the film minted $16,79,750 (Rs 11.20 crore), while from the Canada box office it minted US$ 2,82,893 (Rs 1.88 crore).

UAE-GCC: "Tamasha" minted approximately AED 57, 66, 29 (Rs 10.48 crore) in 10-days.

UK-Ireland: Ranbir-Deepika starrer minted £ 4,38,866 (Rs 4.41 crore) till its second weekend.

Australia and New Zealand: From the Australian box office, the film minted A$ 2,99,537 (Rs 1.46 crore), while from the New Zealand box office it minted NZ$ 60,27 (Rs 26.87 lakh).

Pakistan: From the neighbouring country, "Tamasha" minted PKR 6,37,64,000 (Rs 4.05 crore).

Salman's film is also approaching the Rs 100 crore mark, but at the overseas box office. At the overseas box office "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" has so far minted more than Rs 95.23 crore (some countries yet to be reported) and the film will cross Rs 100 crore mark once the figures are updated.

Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film features Salman, Sonam Kapoor in the lead role and Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Armaan Kohli, Deepak Dobriyal and Swara Bhaskar in supporting roles.
