Irrfan Khan starrer "Talvar" is holding well at the domestic box office, while Kapil Sharma's "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" is running in limited screens. On the other hand, John Abraham starrer "Welcome Back" has almost finished its box office run.

Meghna Gulzar's directorial film "Talvar" is pulling audiences towards theatres. The film, which is riding high with positive reviews, has minted Rs 13.9 crore within six days of its release.

"#Talvar Thu pre 50 lacs, Fri 2.50 cr, Sat 2.70 cr, Sun 3.30 cr, Mon 1.60 cr, Tue 1.65 cr, Wed 1.65 cr: Total: ₹ 13.90 cr. ROCK-STEADY!" trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. 

The film, which also stars Konkona Sen Sharma and Neeraj Kabi in pivotal roles, is looking to end its first week with approximately Rs 15 crore.

Meanwhile, a special screening of "Talvar" will be held for none other than President Pranab Mukherjee. The screening of the film be held on 25 October at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Director Meghna Gulzar confirmed the developments and said that the team of "Talvar" is looking forward to it.

"It's an honour for us to host a screening for the President. We are looking forward to the screening and are obliged that the President has expressed his desire to watch our movie," Meghna said in a statement.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon

Abbas-Mustan's directorial film "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" will cross Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office. The film has minted approximately Rs 45 crore till its second weekend.

Directed by Abbas Mustan, the film features Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Phadnis, Amrita Puri, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram, Sai Lokur, Varun Sharma, Supriya Pathak, Sharat Saxena, Manoj Joshi, Sharad Sankla (Charlie), and Johnny Lever's daughter Jamie Lever in pivotal roles.

Anees Bazmee's directorial film "Welcome Back" was expected to cross Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office. However, the theatrical run of "Welcome Back" stopped before that.

The lifetime box office collection of "Welcome Back" stands at Rs 97 crore. The film had a good first week run at the box office, but the collection started dropping after that.

Also, new releases, especially "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon", "Singh Is Bliing" and "Talvar", affected its box office run in India.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film features Anil Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah and Sakshi Maggo in pivotal roles.
