"Main Tera Hero", starring Varun Dhawan, has been going steady at the box office, after having a decent opening weekend.

First Monday and Tuesday collections were high but on Wednesday, the film witnessed a drop. The drop was around 40 percent, compared to Tuesday. But the drop is normal as the Tuesday earnings were high, due to Ram Navami holiday.

On the sixth day, the film accumulated around ₹3.4 crore, taking its overall total to ₹35.13 crore.

"#MainTeraHero Fri 6.60 cr, Sat 8.03 cr, Sun 8.10 cr, Mon 4.20 cr, Tue 4.80 cr. Total: ₹ 31.73 cr nett. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, adding "#MainTeraHero Wed ₹ 3.40 cr. Rock-steady... India biz."

The film has crossed the lifetime total of Randeep Hooda-Alia Bhatt starrer "Highway", which minted ₹30.61 crore. By the end of week one, "Main Tera Hero" will surpass the lifetime figures of "Shaadi Ke Side Effects" and "Hasee Toh Phasee".

The romantic action comedy is running at the box office with steady pace, thanks to positive word of mouth. Audience have appreciated Varun's performance in the comedy, directed by David Dhawan.

Meanwhile, Balaji Telefilms, producer of the film, threw a grand party on Wednesday, which was attended by the cast and crew of the film.

Bollywood stars, including Arjun Kapoor, Alia, Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Jackky Bhagnani, Sophie Choudry, Saqib Saleem, Tusshar Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Divya Dutta, also attended the party.
