The budget of the film is around ₹40 crore and with the current pace of the film, it will earn the production cost by its first week run or by second weekend.

Also, the makers have earned a major chunk of its production cost from satellite and music rights. Overall, the film turned out to be a profitable project for the makers.

Balaji Telefilms, who is the producer of the film, will celebrate the success of their two films "Ragini MMS 2" and "Main Tera Hero" with a grand party on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, Varun gives the credit of the success of the film to his father David Dhawan.

"Guess audiences were looking for brand David Dhawan to entertain them on the screen and we gave it to them," Varun said, according to Glamsham.com.

The romantic, comedy and action drama is directed by Dhawan and also features Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri in lead roles.
