"Dum Laga Ke Haisha" box office collection may not be as great as big budget movies, but the film has showed tremendous growth at ticket window.

Due to word of mouth, the film has performed extremely well at the domestic box office. On second Tuesday the film fared better than previous day. And second Wednesday's box office income is better than Tuesday.

The grand total of the romantic comedy film now stands at ₹19.78 crore.

"#DumLagaKeHaisha goes from strength to strength. Weekdays of Week 2 are super-strong. Wed better than Tue. Tue better than Mon... contd," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

"#DumLagaKeHaisha [Week 2] Fri 1.91 cr, Sat 2.35 cr, Sun 2.47 cr, Mon 79 lacs, Tue 80 lacs, Wed 82 lacs. Grand total: ₹ 19.78 cr. HIT," he added.

Directed by Sharat Katariya, the film features Ayushmann Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. The romantic film, which received positive feedback, has a repeat value and thus the movie managed to survive in its second week.

But the new release might affect the dream run of "Dum Laga Ke Haisha". "NH10" will hit screens on Friday and is carrying positive feedback from critics and Bollywood celebrities. Since it features Anushka Sharma in the lead role, the film might have a bumper opening.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan's "Badlapur" has touched the ₹50 crore mark at the box office. "Badlapur" also worked at the box office due to word of mouth.

The film, released in a limited screens, took three weeks to earn ₹50 crore from domestic box office.

"Badlapur" is now the second highest grosser of 2015, after Akshay Kumar's "Baby". The third highest grosser is Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal's "Roy".
