R Balki's directorial film "Ki and Ka" witnessed a big drop in its collection on its fourth day at the box office. However, the Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor starrer managed to earn Rs. 50 crore gross income from the worldwide box office.

After recording the third highest opening weekend box office collection, the business of "Ki and Ka" dropped on its fourth day, i.e. Monday by 51.51 percent. However, the drop is reasonable, as it collected Rs. 3.54 crore Monday. The four-day box office collection of "Ki and Ka" now stands at Rs. 28.77 crore.

"The film passed the Monday test with a steady collection of Rs. 3.54 cr (India NBOC). Considering the genre, the number of screens it released in and the target audience, the drop in the fourth day collection compared to opening day is steady," the public relations official of "Ki and Ka" told International Business Times India.

The film, which also features Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan in a cameo, will gross more than Rs. 35 crore in its first-week, which will be the third highest. But it remains to be seen whether the film will hold the same pace in its second week after the release of "The Jungle Book."

Meanwhile, at the worldwide box office the film has hit the half century mark with its gross income. "Ki and Ka" has grossed Rs. 53.35 crore from the worldwide box office, including Rs. 41.10 crore from India and Rs. 12.25 crore overseas, Bollywood Hungama reports.

Directed by Balki, "Ki and Ka" was released in 1,600 screens in India and 500 screens overseas. The rom-com, which talks about gender stereotypes, features Kareena as Kia, Arjun as Kabir Bansal. Swaroop Sampat and Rajit Kapur are playing the supporting roles, while Big B and his wife Jaya have done a cameo.
