After courting numerous controversies and unavoidable delays, the makers will release the teaser poster on 29 January, Thursday, confirmed Karan Johar on Twitter. Apart from the fresh Ranbir-Anushka pairing, the film will also mark Karan's debut in a negative role.

Based on novelist Gyan Prakash's "Mumbai Fables", "Bombay Velvet" reportedly follows the transformation of Bombay and how it came to be one of the biggest metropolitans of the country. Produced by Fox Star Studios and Phantom Productions, the movie is slated for a 15 May, 2015 release.
