Four new Bollywood films are all set to hit the screens this week, including Karan Johar's much-awaited "Student of the Year."

Karan has a bunch of new faces to offer in "Student of The Year". The film is his debut venture without Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role and is his first movie in three years after his 2009 "My Name is Khan."

The film is co-produced by Khan's wife, Gauri Khan. The entire soundtrack for the film is composed by music directing duo Vishal-Shekhar.

The film talks about the struggle between two youngsters - one from the middle class and the other from an affluent family. In a quest to make it big in their lives, the two protagonists begin to slug it out with each other two achieve the "Student Of the Year" award in their college. The film narrates the transition of two competitors to friends to foes. The story takes a different path when they fall in love with the same girl, Alia Bhatt, daughter of Mahesh Bhatt.

"Delhi Safari" will also hit theatres on Friday. The filmmakers are targeting children but are also hoping to impress adult audience.

"Delhi Safari", a 3D animation movie directed by Nikhil Advani, will be released in Hindi and English versions. Many well-known stars like Govinda, Suniel Shetty and Boman Irani amongst others have lent their voices for the animated characters in its Hindi version. Musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have worked out the soundtrack of the film.

The story of "Delhi Safari" revolves around a group of animals and birds which set out for an adventurous trip from Mumbai to Delhi.

Two other movies, "Shudra The Rising" and "Janleva 555" will also be released on Friday.
