Randeep Hooda recently shocked his fans with his look in the biopic "Sarbjit". The actor had shed 18 kg in just 28 days, and he looks completely unrecognisable in the shabby avatar. Some other stars have also surprised their fans with drastic makeovers in recent times.

A few days ago, Rishi Kapoor revealed his look in two of his upcoming movies — "Sanam Re" and "Kapoor and Sons". The veteran actor plays an old man in both, the films but his look is quite different and interesting in the two movies. Another actor who was trending on social media recently was Vir Das. The actor will be seen in a biopic titled "31st October" based on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Vir will be seen as 65-year-old Sikh man Davinder Singh, and it is almost impossible to recognise the actor in the new avatar.

Randeep Hooda plays the role of Sarabjit Singh in the biopic, directed by Omung Kumar. Titled "Sarbjit", the movie is based on the life of Sarabjit, an Indian convicted of terrorism and espionage by a Pakistani court. He was awarded the death penalty but was killed by jail inmates prior to date of the execution.

This picture shows Rishi Kapoor's looks in "Kapoor and Sons" and "Sanam Re", respectively. The actor has revealed that his makeup has cost around Rs 2 crore in the film "Kapoor and Sons".

Vir Das, who was last seen in the adult comedy "Mastizaade", stunned everyone with his look in "31st October". It was reported that the actor had to spend around six hours every day on makeup for this look. It needed three hours to put the makeup on and another three hours to remove it.

Shah Rukh Khan will play a double role in "Fan", one a superstar and the other his biggest fan. This is one of the most awaited flicks of this year.

Believe it or not, this is Sikandar Kher in the movie "Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive". The actor donned two totally different looks in the film. Sikandar put on heavy prosthetic makeup for the film.

Vidya Balan surprised all with her multiple looks in the film "Bobby Jasoos". She played the role of a private detective, and was seen in at least seven different avatars, and was nigh unrecognisable in all of them.

Amitabh Bachchan played the role of a 12-year-old boy who suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Progeria in the movie "Paa". Big B was highly praised for his performance in the film and the makeup artiste also deserves due credit for the look.

Hrithik Roshan's old-man look in "Dhoom 2" was one of the most stunning makeovers. The actor donned other avatars in the film as well, but this one reflected on the magic of prosthetic makeup.
