German luxury car maker BMW's M4 coupe was first seen at Detroit Motor Show early this year. Now latest news suggests that the car is set to come to India soon.

While BMW India has confirmed the news on its Facebook and Twitter handles, the company is yet to confirm the exact launch date of the M4 in the domestic auto market. If reports are to be believed, the car will be reaching Indian shores by August.

BMW M4, which is believed to be the legatee of M3 coupe, will be getting power from 3.0 liter six cylinder twin turbo engine that can churn out a power of 431 hp at 5,500 to 7,300 rpm and a peak torque of 550 Nm at 1,850 to 5,500 rpm. It rang true when BMW launched its M6 Gran Coupé in the country recently. Now the company is bringing its powerful M4 to India and the launch of M4 is expected to be followed by M5.
