[SPOILERS AHEAD]

In the upcoming episode, Weller will be seen going on a mission to prohibit an assassination in a high profile festival. In the meantime, Roman (portrayed by Luke Mitchell) will try to convince his sister to carry on with the mission.

The synopsis of the episode reads:

"Nas and Weller navigate their new dynamic as co-leaders during the team's hunt for a museum gala assassin, who turns out turns out to be harbouring a dark secret. Jane starts to see a softer side of her old organisation."

In a recent interview, Mitchell discussed his character, Rowan, and his relationship with Jane. The actor said that after losing Jane for a long time, Rowan is now willing to do anything for her, which was seen in episode 3 when Rowan killed Shepherd (portrayed by Michelle Hurd) in order to protect his sister.

"He's scared of what Shepherd might do if she were to find out that Jane isn't capable of [killing] and that Jane hasn't found a way back to being Remy," Mitchell explained.

Mitchell also said that a showdown between Rowan and Weller might happen soon and the role of both the men in Jane's life might be further explored in the future episodes of Blindspot.

Mitchell afterwards revealed that he knows the real identity of the spy who is working with Rowan and Shephard under disguise. However, he refused to give any more details regarding the character.

"I do know who it is and it's not who I thought it was going to be," Mitchell said.
