Hailakandi, Feb 02 (ANI): At least three persons were injured in a powerful explosion in Hailakandi district of Assam. The bomb, which exploded near a police station, was planted in a shop in the busy market of the town. Police has launched an investigation in the incident. The southern part of Hailakandi district bordering Mizoram is affected by Bru (Reang) militants. Assam is one of the seven states that make up India's restive remote northeast.
