BlackBerry’s First Phablet Z30 Set to Hit Indian Stores Soon

Not even a week since BlackBerry Z30 was unveiled, the Canadian handset maker is prepping up to release its first phablet in the Indian market.

Spice Group owned online retail, Saholic, has listed BlackBerry Z30 as 'Coming Soon', hinting that the BlackBerry flagship will be released in the market sooner than expected.

This new development comes just days after the smartphone company slashed the prices of BlackBerry Z10 to ₹29,999 from ₹43,490. 

BlackBerry had reportedly claimed that the Z10 price-cut was a promotional exercise for the festive season (Diwali) in few weeks.

With online retail listings of BlackBerry Z30, the company is indeed preparing a ground work for launching its first phablet in the subcontinent.   

As of now, BlackBerry Z30 (SIM-free) is available in UK and UAE for £529.95 (₹53,472) and 2,499 Emirati Dirham (around ₹42,500) respectively.

BlackBerry Z30 sports 5.0-inch super AMOLED HD touch screen with 1280x720p resolutions having pixel density of 294 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on the updated OS version, BlackBerry 10.2.

Inside, it packs 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor, Adreno 320 graphics engine, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 64GB). BlackBerry Z30 flaunts 8.0-megapixel main camera with full HD video recording capability and a 2.0-megapixel secondary camera on the front with HD (720p) recording ability.
