Kolkata, June 1 (ANI): BJP leaders visited West Bengal over alleged attack on party workers and accused the state government of shielding the perpetrators. BJP leaders including Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Meenakshi Lekhi met family members of injured victims, who were allegedly attacked by workers of West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress party and local goons, when they were celebrating BJP's victory. Addressing a news conference, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the state government led by chief minister Mamata Banerjee is not protecting the innocent people in the state.
