New Delhi, Nov 12 (ANI): India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has alleged that many senior leaders of opposition Congress party had stashed black money not only abroad but also at home. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra, during a news briefing accused spokesperson of Congress party, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, of evading taxes and generating black money. Patra was reacting to the Income Tax Department's Settlement Commission move to slap Singhvi with a penalty of Rs. 56.57 crore, and its decision to add over Rs. 91.95 crore to his declared professional income for a period of three years. Patra said that the Income Tax department also contested Singhvi’s claim that he purchased laptops worth rupees five crore for his staff members over three financial years.
