Day 53 of "Bigg Boss 9" continued with previous day's luxury budget task -- Paanch Dosh (ego, anger, greed, lust and sloth) -- where Mandana Karimi and Kanwaljeet Singh's belongings were being destroyed.
Mandana, whose 'expensive' stuff were destroyed by the opposite team members in 'ego' task, was adamant on smashing Kanwaljeet's diamond ring. She further said that Kanwaljeet's belongings didn't hold an emotional value, while her things did. This irked the housemates who landed in a heated argument.
Mandana's teammates Rochelle Rao and Keith Sequeira strongly opposed her opinion and demanded the task be stopped as it has gone beyond their tolerance level.
Later, Mandana's teammates Rochelle, Keith and Prince Narula expressed their opinion that they wished to discontinue the task, resulting in the other team -- comprising Kishwer Merchantt, Suyyash Rai, Kanwaljeet and Rishabh Sinha -- winning the 'ego' task.
However, the chaos didn't end with the task as Prince and Kishwer got into a heated argument, when the latter said that his team should have at least considered Kanwaljeet's medical condition before destroying his spondylitis pillow. Prince defended himself saying that their intention was not to make the 60-year-old suffer as they believed Bigg Boss would replace it with a new pillow.
After the end of the 'ego' task, Bigg Boss announced the next task 'Lust'. Prince and Rishabh took up a challenge where their heart rate was detected when a girl seduced them. Prince emerged as the winner of the 'lust' task.
The prelude of the next episode saw Rochelle Rao and Kanwaljeet Singh taking up the 'greed' task where they were offered 'ticket to finale'.
It now remains to be seen if Rochelle's team comprising her, Keith, Mandana and Prince win the 'ticket to finale' or Kanwaljeet's team consisting of him, Rishabh, Kishwer and Suyyash do.
