"Bigg Boss 9" contestant Puneet Vashist has been troubling fellow inmates, and turns out it's an old habit.

According to a Tellychakkar source, the actor once took his role too seriously and ended up slapping his co-actress quite hard. The insider elaborated how the unit gradually became uncomfortable of his ways and decided to wrap up his bit as quickly as possible.

"Puneet believes himself to be a method actor, and at times goes beyond what is needed for his role. He believes that being a professional, he should go with the flow. And in this case, he improvised the sequence by forcefully taking the lady in his arms and misbehaving with her at the end," said another source.

Puneet hasn't really gelled well with his co-participants, and was recently criticised by host Salman Khan for being arrogant and rude.

After the past weekend, Mandana Karimi was seen explaining how he should go about conducting himself in the house. But that effort also went down the drain.

In other news, the house is slowly becoming a difficult place to live for housemates. The "Highway" task is underway, and the two teams are at loggerheads. The first day of the task went well, with Prince Narula's gang winning, but the recap shows Mandana kicking Kishwer to push her away from the rickshaw stationed at the yard.

Social media users are going crazy over the issue, and some are even demanding Mandana's eviction. However, there are reports that the task has been suspended as some have walked out of it.
