"Bigg Boss" always feeds off couple controversies to achieve higher TRP ratings. This trick has worked quite well for the makers of the show so far.

From Kushal Tandon-Gauhar Khan and Armaan Kohli-Tanishaa Mukherjee to Ashmit Patel-Veena Malik, the controversial reality show has given the world the juiciest of gossips.

And now, according to an India Today report, "Bigg Boss 8" will feature only couples.

"Given the history of the show, there will be ample PDA on the small screen and it will be interesting to see how the makers duck any controversy regarding. Remember the call for it to be shifted to 11 pm slot from prime time due to 'adult content'," states the report.

Salman Khan, who is finally on board and ready to 'take off' the new season, had reportedly talked at length about how unnecessary controversies and disagreements are generated from the show. If the makers are actually thinking of making it a 'couples only' show, how will the superstar handle it? Only time will tell.

However, if rumours are anything to go by Minissha Lamba, Shweta Salve, Karishma Tanna and Mariam Zakaria have been confirmed. But there has not been any official announcement yet. However, there are conjectures that the list might be out sometime in the coming week.

To be aired on 21 September, "Bigg Boss 8" recently released its third promo, in which Khan has a puzzle for his viewers to solve. The teaser does what it's meant to do - build excitement. Through a 'shayari' (poem), Khan tries to give way into the mystery of the new season only to leave the fans guessing.

Looking immensely dishy in uniform, Khan's "Bigg Boss 8" teasers are better than last season. Themed 'Devil vs Angel', season 7 was heavily critiqued by both contestants and viewers.
