Day 89 of the "Bigg Boss 8" house saw a lot of misunderstanding and gossip around surviving wild card entrant Dimpy Mahajan.
The day started with the previous day's immunity task between Karishma Tanna and Gautam Gulati trying their best to remain seated in the chair. However, Gautam emerged as the winner of the immunity task after remaining seated for 36 hours continuously.
Later for the captaincy round, the housemates were given the chance to nominate two deserving contestants who can take over the responsibility of ruling the house for the next week. Praneet Bhatt and Sonali Raut, who in the entire season never had the opportunity to be the captain, were unanimously voted by the housemates for the captaincy round, except for the new bad man of the house Upen Patel and Karishma who initially objected to the inmates' decision.
The captaincy task was then announced by Bigg Boss where Dimpy Mahajan had to compete with the nominated contestants – Sonali and Praneet. Praneet won the task and was announced as the new captain of the house.
Later in the day, Dimpy known for her gossipping nature ever since she entered the "Bigg Boss 8" house found herself in trouble. The previous day saw Dimpy landing into a huge arguement with Pritam over the immunity task that started with Pritam, Karishma and Gautam.
Although, their differences were resolved after both Dimpy and Pritam apologised, it appears that the Bengali lady hadn't had enough of it and was seen discussing the issue with Puneet Issar.
While Dimpy was still cribbing, Pritam who was behind her overheard the duo's conversation. He later went on to Ali Quli Mirza to discuss about the lady's act.
In the prelude of the next episode of "Weekend Ka Vaar", the housemates will have to face the media and answer their questions through a press conference.
