'Bigg Boss 8': Dimpy's Estranged Husband Rahul Mahajan to Enter Show; Viewers Send Special Messages for Gautam

As shown in the prelude to day 79, the contestants of "Bigg Boss 8" have been entrusted with the 'Party Toh Banti Hai' task, wherein each of them will get to invite their celebrity friends onto the high-voltage reality show.

Rahul Mahajan, housemate Dimpy Mahajan's estranged husband, has been called on for the bash by Gautam Gulati. Also, ex-contestant Sambhavna Seth will be attending the party as the "Diya Aur Baati Hum" actor's guest.

All said and done, how will Dimpy react to this? A few days ago, the actress-model was seen sharing her feelings with another wild card entrant Nigaar Khan. She said since she was in a lot of emotional turmoil, "BB8" was the best way for her to get over matters of the heart and move on in life. Will Rahul's unexpected entry shock Dimpy or will she accept it wilfully? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile, Rahul seemed thrilled to enter the show. "Can't wait to meet my dear friend @TheGautamGulati in #BB8 , any message you guys want me to pass it on to him ?," he wrote. Sambhavna who appeared equally thrilled to meet Mr. Popular, posted, "Going to Bigg Boss house to meet my friend Gautam Gulati today..Any msg for him friends?"

Rahul and Dimpy's love story began on a reality show "Rahul Dulhania Le Jayega" wherein the former was to pick the bride of his choice from among 15 ladies who had participated. Calling the "BB8" contestant his best friend, Rahul reportedly expressed an interest in getting married on national TV itself.

However, the strong bond showed cracks just four months after they tied the knot. Dimpy, who accused her now estranged husband of physically abusing her, left Mumbai and lived separately for a while. The couple reconciled, but a few months ago it was reported that their wedlock has hit a rough patch yet again. And, this time it was the lady's alleged affair with a Dubai-based restaurant owner, which forced them to go separate ways.

"Divorce is inevitable. Rahul is just waiting for the elections to get over. Even while staying together, the two reportedly occupied separate bedrooms. The cracks in their marriage have deepened over time. Rahul's friends from the industry are aware of it," The Times of India quoted a friend.

In other news, Pritam Singh has sent an invitation to RJ Malishka to join him for the bash. "I wouldn't believe it if I didn't know his voice!@iampritampyaare just called me 4m the #BB8 house inviting me to a party 2moro.Should I go?," she tweeted.
