Big break for Kiara Advani; set to share screen space with Shahid Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next

Kiara Advani came to limelight with M.S. Dhoni The Untold Story, where she played Sakshi Dhoni's character opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Now, she has got another big break– to play the female lead opposite Shahid Kapoor.

Kiara has been roped in for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next production venture Tuesdays and Fridays, DNA reported. 

"Kiara Advani has signed a three-film deal with SLB's banner. The first film is mostly going to be Tuesdays and Fridays. It's a romantic comedy with a lot of dance involved," a source told DNA.

This is the first time Kiara will be sharing screen space with Shahid.  Meanwhile, this is Shahid's second movie with the filmmaker after Padmavati. Kiara had acted in only one movie since Dhoni biopic – Abbas Mustan's Machine.

Machine was a huge flop and it looked like Kiara's career had came to an end. But, she has made a strong comeback with the Bhansali film. It will be interesting to see Shahid and Kiara romancing each other.

Also, it will be refreshing to see Shahid in a rom-com. Though Shaandaar– the film with Alia Bhatt, was in the same genre, it turned out to be a flop. Hopefully, Shahid's luck will work this time as he badly needs a hit after Rangoon failed to take off at the box office.
