Beyonce-Jay Z Divorce: Who is Queen Bey's Alleged Love Interest, Julius De Boer?

Beyonce's relationship with her husband Jay Z is once again under the radar, after a recent report claimed that the singer is cheating on the rapper with her bodyguard Julius De Boer.

The bodyguard was in the elevator when Jay Z was attacked by his sister-in-law Solange, and it was Boer who is believed to have prevented the fight from escalating.

But Jay Z is far from happy, as he thinks his wife is involved with the bodyguard.

"Jay definitely thinks that there was and may still be something romantic going on between Bey and Julius," a source told Star magazine, reported Mstarz. "He wanted to fire Julius last February, but Beyoncé said, 'Julius isn't going anywhere.'"

"They've spent a lot of time together behind closed doors," the source continued. "He's even stayed in her hotel room."

Rumors of Beyonce's affair with Boer has been doing the rounds since 2009, when the singer was photographed leaving a hotel in Berlin with her mouth covered. Beyonce had her mouth covered with her hand while Boer's lips appeared to be smeared with red lipstick.

Nothing much is known about Boer other than that he is from the Netherlands and speaks five languages. He has been with Beyonce since 2009, and his boss is one of Jay Z's personal bodyguards.

A 2010 article noted that Boer was divorced at the time and he has a four-year-old daughter.
Boer had written about his experience working as Beyonce's bodyguard in a 2010 article that appeared in a Netherlands newspaper, and in it, he stated that he always has to think three steps ahead when protecting a celebrity like Beyonce.

You should always think three steps ahead, follow a schedule, call ahead to destinations, etc. It really is best that a security person explore the destination beforehand.

"In past years I have traveled all continents, mostly in private jets and traveled in the most luxurious hotels stayed. [As a Dutchman I] had to learn to cope and adapt. Adaptability, in physical and psychological terms is the main characteristic that you must possess. I met my boss Norman Oosterbroek in college and he [protects] Jay-Z."

Over the years, Boer has amassed a huge fan following and YouTube even features a video titled "Top 5 Julius Moments," where fans have praised him for his dedication to protecting Beyonce.

"Julius is considered to be one of the best body guards in the world," wrote one fan, while another added: "Julius is awesome! Keep up the great work protecting Queen Bey!"

"If you are a bodyguard you NEED to do WHATEVER it takes to protect your "boss" , so julius keep up the good work dude! Respect," read another message.
