Betty White's fans freaked out after her name started trending on Twitter this week, leading to her death hoax reports. However, they can heave a sigh of relief, as the 95-year-old legendary actress is alive and doing fine.

She became a victim of the celebrity death hoax again. Her name started trending on Twitter after a fake report claimed that The Golden Girls actress has passed away and the news is confirmed by her rep. However, the actress is alive and well and will soon appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Several fans believed the fake reports and expressed their condolences and paid tribute to the actress on Twitter. However, she is alive and when the hoax started trending she was getting ready for her appearance on James Corden's show.

This is not the first time Betty has become a victim of the celebrity death hoax. Last year, a satirical article, "Actress Betty White, 93, Dyes Peacefully In Her Los Angeles Home," that was published in 2014 resurfaced. The article created confusion with several fans believing that the actress has "died peacefully," while the satirical post said, "dyes peacefully."

"Betty has often told me she feels it is relaxing and soothing to dye her own hair, peacefully in her home, where she can laugh and enjoy time with her animals. She's said on more than one occasion that as a blonde, she has had 'more fun' in her roles, and in life," the article said.
