Berlin Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016 kicked off on Tuesday, 7 July, with Sopopular, a notable menswear label, showcasing the androgynous fashion trends of this summer/spring season.

RJ Mitte, who was recently seen in AMC's "Breaking Bad" as Walter "Flynn" White Jr, was Daniel Blechmann's star for the evening. Mitte along with other models displayed Sopopular's black, off-white, and olive clothing, while their faces were smeared with some sort of black polish.

The overall look of Blechmann's label in the Berlin Fashion Week runway was sort of a retort to the "macho man" ideal, and breaking it down. Blechmann experimented with everything from thigh-length tops, leggings, blazers, formal three-fourths and so on.

Austrian designer Lena Hoschek displayed her spring/summer collection of summer dresses and patterned skirts, which were accessorised with straw hats and floral tiaras.

For unisex label Vektor, designers Kristina Puljan and Martin Eichler mixed white and pastel colours with denims to create streetwear-styled clothes. With airy tops and roomy pants, Vektor prioritised comfort and functionality over everything else in its summer/spring collection.

White ruled in Marc Cain's runway at the Berlin Fashion Week too, with one set of models presenting bohemian dresses and skirts, while another group exhibiting more formal attires.

Marcel Ostertag's models were adorned in bright coloured daily wears, while Pearly Wong decided to go strictly black and white, this fashion week.
