Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner seem to be going through a very rough phase. Ever since the "Daredevil" actors called for a divorce, their decision and relationship status has been questioned by various media outlets. Many have reported that both the actors have moved on and started dating others, and others suggest that the couple is attending couple therapy to make it work.

But now, the latest buzz is that Jen is reconsidering the divorce as the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor is on the verge of an emotional breakdown.

It was widely reported earlier that one of the major causes for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner divorce is the "Argo" actor's alleged affair with nanny Christine Ouzounian. And apparently now, the pressure of cleaning up his act and saving his family has pushed him to the "verge of an emotional breakdown", reported Radar Online.

"Ben's a shadow of his former self — bloated, down and completely torn over what to do," a close friend of the actor told the website.

The report further said that Ben's emotional state is now pushing Jennifer to hold on to the divorce negotiations, at least until he finishes shooting "Live By Night".

"Jen's been using the delay to try and fix things. Ben can't believe she even wants to give him another chance after how he's behaved but she feels she should because of the kids," the friend added.

According to the friend, despite Jen's efforts, Ben has been withdrawing, but she still hasn't stopped trying. "Jen's hoping he can pull himself together, but even she admits she's being very optimistic," the friend said.

However, her friends are apparently asking her to just let go and move on. "He's burnt her so many times and her friends are urging her to not give him any more chances. He'll never change and he doesn't deserve it," the friend added.

Well, it looks like friends are really concerned about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.
