Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner officially called it quits on their 10-year marriage in June. The "Daredevil" co-stars announced their divorce in a joint statement, a day after their 10th wedding anniversary. Since then, various rumours have been buzzing around suggesting that the couple is reconsidering their divorce decision and planning to reconcile.
Well, latest reports claim that Ben and Jen are not calling their divorce off and that the "Batman v Superman" actor's mother is helping him cope with his broken marriage.
While reports claim that Jen and Ben are trying hard to save their marriage and are making efforts to make things work, a source has apparently confirmed to Gossip Cop that the couple is damn sure of not getting back together and nothing has changed since they announced their divorce. The report clearly states that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are "not" calling off their divorce.
Meanwhile, it has come out that the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor is in a very bad shape and is depending on his mother for support as he tries and copes with the divorce. According to Independent, Ben's mother Christine is keen to stand by her son and help him fight the emotional pain as she herself has been through a broken marriage.
"Ben's mum Christine is in full control of everything right now as he picks up the pieces from his broken marriage. Chris' boys, Casey and Ben, have always been the apple of her eye, ever since her husband left her. Ben's always been close to his mum, but he seems to have taken it to a whole new level since the split," a source said.
The reports further said that Ben is in a very bad state and is spending a lot of time in Boston at his mother's. "Ben's in a pretty bad way. He's not really taking care of himself, he's not shaving, hardly washing and eating a lot of junk food and his mum can't bear to see him like this. She convinced him to stay in their family home so she could nurse him back to health. Now she's really pushing for him to move in full-time once he starts filming," the source added.
Well, it looks like the divorce with Jennifer Garner has really hit Ben Affleck very hard, emotionally.
