Bella Hadid has apologised to everyone after she received criticism for promoting the disastrous Fyre Festival that was held in the Bahamas. The Victoria's Secret Model in her official apology said that she wanted everyone to have a great time and feels sorry for promoting the event.

The luxury concert event was supposed to take place this week but it was postponed after the controversy. The organisers received complaints on social media for not organising the event properly. The guests posted photos of the half-built tents, piles of trash on the ground and empty 'concierge' huts, among others.

The guests said the events, which were expected to create a "cultural moment from an alchemic blend of music, art, and food," and the accommodation what they received was nothing like the organisers promised in the photos before the booking the tickets. The Fyre Festival organisers later issued a statement saying they would refund the ticket money, which cost up to thousands of dollars, to the guests.

After the controversy, Bella took to Twitter to share a self-written note and say sorry to everyone. She said she thought it would be an amazing experience for everyone. She clarified that if she had known about the outcome then she would have informed everyone about it.

"Hey guys, I just wanted to address Fyre Festival... Even though this was not my project what so ever, nor was I informed about the production or process of the festival in any shape or form, I do know that it has always been out of great intent and they truly wanted all of us to have the time of our lives," she said.

"I initially trusted this would be an amazing & memorable experience for all of us, which is why I agreed to do one promotion...not knowing about the disaster that was to come."

"I feel so sorry and badly because this is something I couldn't stand by, although of course if I would have known about the outcome, you would have all known too. I hope everyone is safe and back with their families and loves ones...xo," she said.
