Within three months of its release, Emma Watson and Dan Stevens-starrer Disney movie Beauty and the Beast has found a place in the list of top 10 highest grossing movies of all time.

The film's domestic box office collection over the past weekend made way for the movie to find the 10th spot on the top ten movies list. Beauty and the Beast replaced Disney/Marvel's Iron Man 3 for the 10th spot, falling behind another Disney movie, Frozen.

According to Box Office Mojo, Beauty and the Beast's overall domestic collection helped the movie become the ninth highest grossing movie domestically. The movie earned $2.4 million through ticket sales over the weekend. The film was screened at 1,792 theatres across North America.

Adding the global sales, Beauty and the Beast's total worldwide collection stands at $1.221.8, surpassing 2013's Iron Man 3 that earned $1.214.8 billion. These global collections resulted in Beauty and the Beast twirling its way to the 10th position of the top 10 highest grosser movies of all time (on an international scale).

BatB will aim at beating Frozen's $1.276.5 in ticket sales. The Elsa movie ranks the ninth highest grossing movie of all time as of now.

Disney knows how to rule the box office as five movies of the top ten grosser are produced by the studio are placed in the top ten grosser. Apart from Frozen at No 9 and Beauty and the Beast at No 10 now, Star Wars: The Force Awakens stands at No 3 with a total earnings of $2.068.2 billion, Marvel's The Avengers sitting at No 5 with $1.581.8 billion and 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron staying put at the seventh position with worldwide box office collections adding up to $1.405.4 billion.

The list is topped by Avatar, released in 2009. The movie earned $2,788 billion followed by Titanic on the second position with a total earning of $2,186.8 billion.
