As you await the release of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice", which will theatres on on 23 March, 2016, we have got our hands on some juicy plot details and photos.

**SPOILERS AHEAD**

We all know that the upcoming film will pit man against god, "Man of Steel" against "The Dark Knight", but it is not just a jab at his ego or the lack of trust in an alien that drives Batman to fight Superman. Superman's (Henry Cavill) mind is being controlled by Lex Luthor (Jessie Eissenberg), Movie Pilot guesses based on Zack Snyder's response to Batman's mech suit at the San Diego Comic Con.

Synder had replied that the purpose of Batman's mech suit was "self preservation", and "buying him time, if you will". Buying him time from what? The theory is that he is waiting for Lex's influence on Superman to wear off.

There is more than just Snyder's off-handed remark to make it true. Look at the following screenshots from the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer. Superman is bowing down to Lex and in the next shot he has a look of evil determination. The possibility of him being controlled by his nemesis with the help of a red kryptonite is quite high.

Meanwhile, Empire Magazine has released three new images from the movie, the first showing Superman inside the ruins of Wayne manor, while the second one featuring Batman in his medieval-shaped armour that is the Kryptonite suit, with which he can level the fields when he fights the Kryptonian. In the third photo, Silicon Valley CEO-esque Lex Luthor is seen chilling at a basketball court. No one, except Batman, reportedly suspects the villainous nature of this friendly Lex.

The theory is that Batman notices that Superman in under Lex's influence and keeps him busy with the help of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) till he snaps out of its effects. Batman supposedly uses a kryptonite-laced sphere as a last resort to stop Superman from wreaking havoc.
